A friend and I are downsizing all of our possessions after a big move, and will be holding a garage sale in my living room - so I guess its a Living Room Sale. Before my move I was a boutique owner. I made my own soaps, lotions, and candles, and sold many items in antique trinket and jewelry boxes. Most of my soaps and candles have found happy homes, but I still have an extensive collection of antique pretties that are looking to be adopted as well. Some things on offer are:
Several jadeite and milk glass pieces
Four antique, hand-sewn quilts, three of them made from pieced flour sack material
Two antique chenille bedspreads, one pink and white, the other hot pink with pom-poms. Pom-poms!
A collection of slag glass including one lemonade slag trinket box in mint condition and a turquoise slag compote dish
Antique furniture a caned chaise lounge hailing from 1920 1930, a turquoise sofa with original upholstery, made here in Portland, and an large antique steamer trunk
Vintage purses and suitcases
Many old and hand-made boxes from the turn of the century one is plated silver, another is a hand-built communion trinket box. I also am selling a handmade pin-keep from the late 1800s
Several Mele jewelry boxes in very good condition
A vintage milk glass and rhinestone bracelet
Some not-so-old things are for sale as well:
A white three-shelf hutch with glass shelves
An extensive collection of Mikasa crystal
Two large green area rugs
Several CD collections, including the entire series of I Love Lucy, and CSI (Las Vegas), seasons 1-6 and 8
A large, never-been-used artificial Christmas tree
LOTS of clothing many are new pieces with the tags still attached ranging in size from 8 to 20.
A size 16 wedding gown (only worn once, obviously!)
One husband, slightly used (just kidding)
